Cedar Deck Addition in Sudden Valley

This home is located on a steep slope making the main floor windows nearly thirty feet from the ground and the yard unusable.

Dexperts added a deck the entire length of the backside of this Sudden Valley home. This Deck expands the house's living area and allows the owners to enjoy the outdoors as well as giving access to portions of the homes exterior that were nearly impossible to reach otherwise.

The owners opted to use natural cedar decking and mahogany for the main materials to help tie the structure in with the park like natural setting that surrounds the home. Aluminum railing pickets were used to minimize the bulk of the railing allowing for a better view and to reduce some of the maintenance.
